We are currently searching for a Senior Hydrogeologist
for our Vernon office to play a leading role in the growth of our
hydrogeology practice in western and northern Canada. Reporting
to the Water Resources Group Manager, the successful candidate will
work with a dynamic team on a variety of assignments relating to
groundwater supply, wastewater and stormwater management, environmental
monitoring, solid waste, water resources management, mining, and

SOIL SCIENTIST - EDMONTON, AB

Alberta office. The successful applicant for the position will manage projects, complete scientific
studies and investigations, prepare plans and reports, manage relationships with existing clients,
and help to develop business with new clients. The qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor's degree in soil science and at least six years of progressive
experience, or a graduate degree and at least four years experience;
- Registration as a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the Alberta Institute of Agologists;
- Experience in soil survey, conservation and reclamation planning, erosion and
sediment control, soil fertility, environmental assessment, and monitoring. Experience in managing organic

leadership role in building our practice at our new Yellowknife, NT office. The successful applicant
for the position will be part of a focused team and will lead a small group of scientists.
Responsibilities will include project management, proposal preparation, completing scientific studies

The qualifications for this position are:

SUMMER STUDENTS 2012
Summit may be hiring about one or two
summer students for the May to September 2012 period. Applicants
should be in a relevant post-secondary program such as environmental

planning. Desirable attributes include field training and experience,
good computer skills (especially in Excel), and good writing skills.

Contract Opportunities
We usually hire several contract technical
staff for the mid-July to October period to support our full-time
staff. For contract fisheries positions applicants should have valid
electrofishing certification. All contract positions involve fieldwork
