Completed a two-phase project designed to restore fish habitat in Birk Creek, a tributary of the Barrière River, which has been historically impacted by forest harvesting-related activities. Phase one of the project involved detailed channel surveys, development of prescriptions for instream works required to restore channel stability (thalweg re-establishment, bank reinforcement with tree revetments), and supervision of construction work. Phase two involved installation of structures designed to restore fish habitat.
