Completed an environmental impact assessment of the reconstruction of Paul Lake dam near Kamloops, B.C.  Evaluated potential construction and operational effects on fish and fish habitat and wetlands.  Developed conceptual plans for a fishway to allow fish passage at certain times of the year.  Completed hydrological analyses and estimated the 1:1000-year return period flow for the dam design.  Developed environmental monitoring and mitigation plans.  Served as environmental monitors during construction, which included ensuring compliance with sediment and erosion control plans.  Construction activities included installation of in-lake sheet piling, construction of temporary roads in the riparian zones of a creek and lake, installation of two large coffer dams in the stream and lake, concrete pours, and installation of riprap in the stream and lake.
