Developed conceptual engineering design for stabilising Ashton Creek, which had been damaged during the spring 1997 freshet. The stabilisation plan included removal of excess gravel from aggraded sections of channel, and protection of selected high priority sections of streambank (e.g., those with adjacent homes). Supervised construction of a detailed plan developed by B.C. Environment in the summer/fall of 1998.
