Currently providing environmental management services for the design and construction of four bridges on the Trans Canada Highway in Kickinghorse Canyon, near Golden, B.C.  Environmental management services at the 5-Mile bridges have included assessment of potential impacts to aquatic resources from proposed instream works, preparation of an impact mitigation plan, liaison with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, review of Environmental Management Plans, completion of a research project on the effects of pile driving impacts on juvenile fish, and preparation of an assessment of potential traffic impacts to wildlife in Banff, Yoho, and Kootenay national Parks from a proposed road closure in Kickinghorse Canyon.  Environmental management  services at the two low-level bridges (7-Mile) have included providing environmental input into the design of instream works, preparation of an impact assessment of aquatic and riparian values for use in the Fisheries Act authorization, and identification of impact mitigation works.
