Investigated the source of hydrocarbon vapour odours in an office building in downtown Vernon. Determined that the adjacent soils were contaminated with a solvent. Designed and installed a soil vapour extraction system to remediate the site. Monitored reductions in vapour concentrations. Installed and monitored a network of groundwater wells to confirm successful remediation and have applied for a Certificate of Compliance.
