Developed terms of reference (TOR) for environmental assessments required under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA) for new biofuels plants. This included researching the operations and processes for both ethanol and biodiesel plants, as well as the potential construction and operational impacts including emissions could have on valued ecosystem components (VEC's). This TOR was in support of a new federal government funding initiative to assist in the development of biodiesel and ethanol plants in Canada.
