Summit provided hydrogeologic support for a feasibility study to select a new hatchery site for the Okanagan Nation Alliance Okanagan Sockeye Reintroduction program. The study team evaluated four candidate sites in the Penticton area and the Shuswap Falls Hatchery near Lumby, B.C. and determined feasibility of developing approximately 7,500 litres/minute (2000 US gpm) of water production capacity from wells completed in alluvial sand and gravel aquifers. Summit followed up that assignment with a groundwater test well program at two sites near Penticton.
