Conducted regional hydrologic studies for several areas in B.C. including the West Kootenay, Sunshine Coast, Okanagan Valley, Kamloops region, and Chilcotin. Developed methods for estimating peak flows (100 and 50 year) and determining culvert and bridge sizes to meet Forest Practices Code requirements. Developed a user-friendly computerised procedure for forest companies’ in-house staff to determine peak flows and the required culvert sizes. The program is in the familiar "point-and-click" Windows format, and allows the user to download the data to an Excel spreadsheet.
