Conducted hydrologic studies in support of research on the feasibility of constructed wetlands to treat hydrocarbon-contaminated water. Used bromine as a tracer to determine the hydraulic retention time of wetlands. Established a microclimatology station within a wetland to measure the parameters required to model evapotranspiration; including net radiation, ground heat flux, air and water temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed and direction. Estimated the daily and seasonal wetland water balance.
