For the Stoddart Village Water Supply Options project, Summit provided hydrogeologic assessment of an existing well on the Shuswap IR#0 reserve near Invermere, B.C that had been unused due to operational issues. We assessed well condition by performing a downhole camera survey and by conducting a pumping test with water quality analysis. The evaluation determined that it is feasible to use the well as a water supply so that use of an untreated surface water source could be discontinued, thus eliminating the long-standing boil water order from Health Canada. We then conducted additional test drilling and analysis to further develop the water sources needed for the Stoddart Village water system.
