Analysed experimental plume delineation data to meet provisions of the Federal Environmental Effects Monitoring (EEM) requirements for pulp mills discharging to aquatic environments.  The study was completed in the Lesser Slave River in northern Alberta.  Rhodamine dye was injected into the BCTMP mill's final clarifier and a boat-mounted fluorometer was used to characterise the effluent plume across 12 transects moving downstream from the mill outfall.  Compared the results against predictions from mixing equations.  Mapped the plume at 1:5,000 scale.
